On the fourth day, we drove to Killarney National Park and Kenmare. We had hoped to do the entire Ring of Kerry, but realized that to do that and drive to Dublin, where our next hotel room was reserved, was impossible for one day.

(L) Muckross House. We didn't go in. (R) Mossy forest on the way to a waterfall.

(Above) We took an over-priced horse and buggy ride from the Muckross House to the waterfall. The driver let Jack and Lucas pilot a bit.

After driving through the park, we stopped in Kenmare where we found a rocky beach- just what the boys needed. No trip is complete without a chance to throw rocks into the water.
(Above) Happy to be out of the van!
(Above) Playing 'go fetch' with a friendly dog with rocks. There were quite a few close calls where they almost pelted the poor pooch.

Love love love these pictures. Makes me want to go really bad! I want to frolic in that forest with the moss covered trees.
Munchie III with her little hat is way cute. Good job on the vacation and the blog entries.
