Hello dear family. We haven't been traveling as much as it appears on this blog. It's just that our trips are the only thing we (Aaron) blogs about. I've been very busy with school since we arrived in England, but finished my Comps last month (it was painful) and should be completely done by April. Glad I did it, but ready to have my life back. And now that the weather is warming up and it's getting lighter, I'm ready to finally go see this country!
The beginning of spring has been lovely here. We have daffodils in our garden, and a tree that looks like it's going to have pretty pink blossoms. I love spring, my favorite season.
So to rewind a little with our "at home" pictures, we got a few snow storms in January. The snow didn't last long, but there was enough to make a great snowman.

The boys found it hilarious when Aaron and I started throwing snowballs at each other.
"Moves Like Jagger" is the boys' favorite song, and we have far too many pictures and videos of them dancing to it. These boys love to dance. Lucas hops and runs in circles while Jack's dances and poses are more interpretive.
They rarely go to sleep without toys, but this was a little excessive.
Lucas has also started wanting to sleep naked, which neither of my kids have done in the past.

They both like to help me in the kitchen. They also make spears with markers.
(Jack is juicing a lemon. Looks like he got a squirt in the eye, doesn't it?) I burned my lemon candle and made lemon desserts to keep my sanity through the darkness of winter.

Sometimes they get along nicely, and it's so refreshing.
I always think it's funny when a kid dresses himself and the pants are on sideways.
A small circus came to town last weekend, so we all went. Aaron aptly described it as a glorified talent show, but the boys liked it. It was really small, but entertaining enough. Someday I'd like to go to a big one.
In other news, I've been volunteering at the base library get get my internship hours for my degree (silly, but I won't explain). So Aaron has kindly been sacrificing his Saturdays to watch the boys while I do that. I'm almost done.
We finished watching a long bio on Bill Clinton over several Sundays that we enjoyed. I was excited to learn that we can watch documentaries on PBS.org with a British IP address, while that site was blocked in Germany.
Jack is enjoying school and that's going well.
Lucas is still routinely getting up at 5:00 or 5:30. I can't wait for daylight savings (hasn't happened yet for us). Then he'll be getting up at 6 instead of 5. At this point in my life I love the spring change and hate the autumn one. Last fall, he went from getting up at 5:30 to getting up at 4:30! Awful. No such thing as an extra hour of sleep with small kids.
We are very excited for upcoming visits from Aaron's sister and mother, and we will go on some fun trips around England with them.
