7 weeks old

Noelle started smiling at 6 weeks, but I haven't taken a good picture of it yet.  She weighed 9 lbs 13 oz at 6 weeks, up from 7 lbs 3 oz at birth.
(Some of these look like me as a baby.  What do you think, Mom and Dad?)

Lucas has a pair of the school uniform pants that he wears.  I thought he looked like an old man with his trousers pulled up over his big belly.

Here pants are trousers and underwear are pants.  I've made the mistake of saying pants when I meant trousers too many times.

Noelle

one month old
6 weeks old
Everyone at church: "How did you get the bow to stay on her head?"
me: "I glued it."  (Elmer's glue, the honey and corn syrup just weren't enough.)
Lady from Trinidad (imagine her accent.): "Harmony, you did not glue a bow to your child's head."

The boys making their rice krispy treat houses from Uncle Dallon.

More of Bill's Visit

The road to our village is still flooded (or was).
This has got to be one of Lucas's favorite things to do.
More playing with the new toys.
We went to the Duxford Imperial War Museum, one of our favorites.  Dad, this will be our first stop when you come.
They have an awesome gift shop here with tons of WW2 era replicas, like ration books and such.  There are lots of war propaganda posters, all British.  Dad and Mom, we thought you would like this one.

Peterborough again
The boys got to ride on the carousel.

We went to London and saw the dinosaur bones at the Natural History museum.  This was a great exhibit.  I'd love to go back.  Too bad everyone in Britain was there too, and the weather was crappy, as always.

Christmas Eve & Morning

Aaron's dad arrived on Christmas Eve day.  That evening we walked over to our village church where they were having a short Nativity program.  We hadn't known that in advance, but decided to stay.
(This is a photo from months ago, taken standing in our driveway.)
We got to see how the church bells were rung (by pulling these cords), and Lucas made a friend.
The boys were asked to participate in the program as shepherds.

Christmas morning
Noelle's first Christmas.  She turned 1 month on Christmas Eve (and she occasionally wears her brothers' baby clothes).
Christmas morning means a few hours of assembling toys.
