Jack's First Halloween

Growing up I always spent Halloween with my Grandma Higgs, so this year I was thrilled to be able to do that again. This was Great-Grandma's first time meeting Jack, and she loved his cow costume.

First Time in a Big Bathtub

I guess he's starting to grow out of his baby bathtub. He loved the big tub. He was kicking around like a little froggy -- so cute!

We're in Idaho

I had been dreading taking the flight with a baby, but Jack did SO well! He fell asleep on the runway in Baltimore and woke up when we got off the plane in Idaho Falls (and we had a layover in Salt Lake). Wow! Thank you Jack for being so tired!

Standing Up

Jack has been able to hold his own weight pretty much since he was born, and he does it very often. In this picture I am just helping him balance, but he is standing. I'll bet he'll walk early.

Jack has this chair that he sits in wherever I am, like in the kitchen while I'm cooking.

He fell asleep in it in the dining room while we were eating dinner (with his hand on his knee).
