St. Michael's Mount, Cornwall

One of our stops in Cornwall was to St. Michael's Mount, a small island with a fortress atop that is the home to one of England's noble families. During low tide, you can walk to the island. However, we arrived at high tide and had to pay for a ride on a boat.

(Above) Before heading to the Island, we played on the beach across the water. The boys hunted for sea shells, which were scattered all over the beach. All of the pebble-like objects in the picture of Noelle above are small sea shells that washed in with the tide.
