Our last family trip in England before we moved back to the States was to Devonshire and Cornwall during the kids' spring break in April. While we had rain during much of the trip, the scenery was still stunning. As they say in England, there's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing. Our first stop on this trip was to the quaint seaside village of Clovelly.
(Above) Clovelly is only accessible by foot.
(R) We should have heeded the warning not to use a stroller for the walk down to the village. It was a steep downhill descent into the village with countless stairs once we entered the village.
(Above) The boys' favorite vacation activity: throwing rocks into the water. It just never gets old.
(Above) This waterfall was hidden just a few hundred feet from the bottom of the village.

We need to take those kids to the beach in NC so they can swim in the ocean.
