I could tell he had thinned out a little, but he's still very long.

Weight: 13 lbs, 8 oz (90%)
Height: 25.5 in (>95%, off the chart)

6 weeks old
Weight: 11 lbs, 12 oz (90%)
Height: 23 in (90%)

My sister, Jaimie, had her second baby on November 2, so we went to visit the day after the new baby girl was born. Jack met his two cousins for the first time, and my sister and her husband got to meet Jack. Elsie is my sister's first child; she is 15 months old now. She and Jack are nearly the same size!

Who Does Jack Look Like?

When Jack was first born we could not figure out who in the family he looked like. After looking at my baby pictures, it's now pretty obvious.

Jack's First Halloween

Growing up I always spent Halloween with my Grandma Higgs, so this year I was thrilled to be able to do that again. This was Great-Grandma's first time meeting Jack, and she loved his cow costume.

First Time in a Big Bathtub

I guess he's starting to grow out of his baby bathtub. He loved the big tub. He was kicking around like a little froggy -- so cute!

We're in Idaho

I had been dreading taking the flight with a baby, but Jack did SO well! He fell asleep on the runway in Baltimore and woke up when we got off the plane in Idaho Falls (and we had a layover in Salt Lake). Wow! Thank you Jack for being so tired!
